The Victorinox SwissClassic bread knife is, unsurprisingly, ideal for cutting bread. But actually the name ‘bread knife’ does this knife a disservice. You can use it for so many other things too! It’s great for slicing large fruit with a hard skin, such as melon, or large vegetables, like a head of lettuce. This is why it is more apt to call it a serrated knife.
